My name is Madi Robito and I’m a Senior at the University of New England. I am a communications and media arts major with a business administration minor. I’m from Pelham, New Hampshire, which is about 35 minutes north of Boston. I ultimately chose UNE for its beautiful location on the water, the rigorous academics, and so that I could play field hockey on the varsity team. After I graduate with a bachelors degree, I plan to pursue a career in marketing with a focus in social media marketing, writing blog posts, branding, and advertising.

In my free time I love hanging out with my friends, whether it’s going to the beach, going on a boat, or doing anything spontaneous. I am super close with my family – we do so much together, from summer concerts to skiing in the winter. I grew up watching and playing sports, and some of my favorite activities include going to sporting events, especially summertime Red Sox games.
As I mentioned, I’m on the varsity field hockey team here at UNE. Juggling being a student athlete has come with its challenges, but has overall given me exceptional multitasking, leadership, communication, and organization skills that I will use in my professional life.
I have always loved art, and during my time in high school I won multiple NH Scholastic Art Awards. Something that people may not know about me is that I took piano lessons for 10 years! I plan to use my creative skills in any job I pursue in my future career.
